Contract N260299 for the Supply of Logistic Support Services for Mine Sweeping auxiliaries and Associated Equipment for the Royal Australian Navy:
Overview:
Our Management team based at North Sydney has provided since 1997 the maintenance support services to the MCDSPO for the following platforms, sections and associated equipment:
- MSA – Mine Sweeping Auxiliary vessels, Bandicoot & Wallaroo
- CDTI & CDT4 – Clearance Diving Teams Sydney and Perth for non hyperbaric equipment including fast RHIB, outboards and nominated specialized tools and equipment
- DSA – Deployable system assets
- MSCS – Mine Sweeping Control Systems
- MSDE – Mine Sweeping Drone Element
- MSWASE – Mine Warfare Auxiliary Sweep Elements
The Maintenance support services has assisted the MCDSPO with the progressive development of preventative maintenance systems, implementation of planned maintenance routines and scheduling maintenance work within the existing contract framework.
Birdon Group undertake Project and Maintenance Management, Technical Information control, Spares Support, Configuration Management, Operation and Management of computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) along with ADHOC Maintenance of the Platforms and Systems across Australia.
